    Hi all,
I'm new to your site but not new to the problems that come with PC's, malware and spyware. I need a lot of help here. I've tried and tried to fix my brothers computer but it seems, I say seems because I'm not sure what it is doing is right or not, that his homepage has been hijacked by MSN Beta. The URL is http://beta.msn.com/?hdv=hdr2 and it looks ligit but if I try to go to MSN.com it comes back to this URL. I've tried using HijackThis and Browser Hijack Recover from Wamasoft. I've changed the registry settings to go to MSN.com and done everything I know of and found on the Net but it still goes to MSN Beta. I know MSN.com is still the same because I've looked at it on my PC at my home. I need big time help here. What am I missing? Thanks before hand to anybody that can help me. Oh yeah I'm attaching the text file from HijackThis and Browser Hijack Recover for anyone to look at. Thanks!

Well boy do I have egg on my face. Talked to my nephew's girlfriend's Dad, did you get all that, and he said that if you go down the page on the MSN Beta site there's a link that tells you to turn off this test if you don't want to be part of it. Just did it and it went back to the normal MSN.com. Here I thought for sure that the homepage got hijacked, my brothers homepage got hijacked before by about:blank awhile back. I learned something new today, it cost me a couple of hours of my life but I did learn something! So if anybody posts about their MSN.com homepage being "hijacked" by some MSN Beta test you can use my example. It does seem funny to me that MSN didn't say anything to him about being part of the test before changing the homepage, oh well at least it works now. Thanks for your help....and patience!
