Hooking pc up to T.V.

Using a t.v. sitting on the sofa playing a game would be great, The downsides would be having to use something to move the mouse and having the awkward keyboard but, I guess there is always a controller you could buy. Has anyone tryed this? - Did it work out?

You might wanna work out a way to use the machine without a keyboard AND mouse. Maybe some sort of remote device to control the pointer? Or maybe a gamepad? would make sofa playing a lot easier...

 

Usually a PC/TV hookup is not wirth the time and effort; just get an Xbox. It is made to work with the TV.

My computer, monitors, HT (TV) are in the same (living) room. Here is what I do:
From Office Depot I got one of those 14"L x 11"W cork-faced one side bulletin boards.
I use it lengthwise on my lap with the keyboard futhest away. Close to me I have a 3M Precise Optical Mousing Surface mouse pad and a mouse and/or Joystick.
I use this setup for gaming with the TV and my Main Computer monitor.
