Hooking up multiple speakers to stereo?

    Any home theatre/audiophiles out there?

I recently bought a 200w 2.0 stereo reciever from BestBuy. When I took it out of the box, on the back of the reciever it said to hook up speakers A or B, the speakers needed to be 8 ohm minimum. To hook up speakers A+B, the speakers needed to be 16 ohm minimum. Problem! I'm really wanting to hook up 4 speakers to the reciever to get maximum volume, but all the floor standing speakers I've seen are only 8 ohm. What can I do?

I looked on BB's website, and they also have a 500w 5.1 A/V reciever. But since I've got a pair of 2.1 satellite speakers that are rated as 16ohm, I'm guessing the 5.1 might also need 16ohm speakers. How do I go about hooking up multiple 8 ohm floor standing speakers to my stereo system? Floor speakers are going to be used because I'm not much interested in 5.1 speakers just because floors are so much louder, which is what I want, and the system will primarily be used for listening to music, with movies being a bonus, although 2 floors with a sub might be possible, and 4 floors with a sub would be outta sight if the 5.1 reciever would indeed be capable of this.

    Any help?

    Thanks.

Thanks a lot, this is a good link.

It even has what I was looking for, which is stringing random speakers together.

    Thanks!
