    Is there anyway of finding out where someone is emailing from a hotmail account?

    I looked at the source of the email and the IP is all the same all through the email ..and it isnt registered at WHOIS

    Okay i have even followed instructions from a site on how to track the hotmail IP ...
    show header info etc etc ...

    i have noticed all my emails have the exact same ip throughout the emails ...ones I've sent & several different incoming mails ..all the same ...

    I REALLY need to know this !!!

    btw ...I am "viewing source " when I right click on the mail after its opened.

    k ..I went even FURTHER and tryed to revert back to the old hotmail ( which you can't do ) just gives you the classic version ..it still has the updated mail settings which dont allow the advanced options to show "full header " in email

    everything just says view the f'in source !!
    and every source is the exact damn same !!!

    am i doing something wrong here ???

    Hi

    Sadly NO as your only going to hit a Hotmail server and many users from various countries will be using same server, if your being harrased by someone via a hotmail email address, then contact

    After hitting a site with someone with the exact same problem ..I have FOUND the way to do it !!

    =========================================

    Update: Thanks to some diligent readers, we now have a way to view full headers. You must be in Full Version mode to do this.

    *

    In your inbox, right-click on the email message displayed in the list of messages.
    *

    From the drop-down menu that appears, click on View Source.

    From there, a new window will appear that displays the full header of the message

    =====================

    hope that helps anyone else that was curious about windows LIVE hotmail and the disapearance of the advanced options ...
