I'm not 100% sure if this belongs in here but it's not really a problem, more that I need ideas.

Anyway, at work we have an email issue. Now bare in mind this is a shoe store, albeit a very busy one but very simple, the 1 PC we have is old P4, slow as shite and bogged down with screen savers and various other crap, but I'm not interested in cleaning it up, way too much work, I ran cleaners ect but the files and crap saved on it. Anyway, our boss wants us to email him at the end of each night with info of what we have done and how many we sold etc, he nows wants this info in more of a bullet point form...

    Example:

Thats basically it, a little more questions etc but you get the idea.

Now to the issue, each of us have to send this from Hotmail to the boss, so I would like to create a template of this for easy filling in and sending.
Obviously first thought is pdf format, but the boss wont be bothered to open an attachment (seriously) and a lot of the people who have to email him know less about computers than I know about the inner workings of the female mind.
I thought I had it, I created a draft and saved it, I would then like to be able to say "Just go to "Folder" and open the draft, fill it in and click send"
But I don't know of a way to then have the draft stay saved and ready to fill in unless we copy/paste the draft which we did tonight and it took forever for them all to get sent, even annoyed me, just fumbly and really inefficient..... Ok so it just annoys me :-D

    So, any ideas?

    Hi Ned

What email client software are you using as in Windows Live Mail, or are you using the online version of Hotmail, but I may have a solution if you use WLM

What you can do is to create your template then choose File > Save > Save as File and save it somewhere all employees can find (desktop is good and name it Daily Shoe Sales or similar) then all you need to do is to double click that file to open the template.

Not seen how you could so this with the online version of Hotmail yet,

Yes it's the online version, like I said I played with it but couldn't find a simple way of doing it. Isn't it funny how something so simple doesn't seem like it's available lol

If you compose messages in Hotmail using the Rich Text mode in your message composition panel, you should have a bullets icon on a formatting toolbar. See the attached image.

Edit: If you're using an older Hotmail account, I believe your screen may look different but I'd bet you still have a bullets option somewhere.

Are you using separate hotmail accounts, or all of you sending from separate accounts?
