Hotspot To Games Console, With A Vpn Connection...

I take it a phone that hasn't been rooted cannot have a VPN usable over the Mobile Hotspot feature to a PS4, for example. I may have asked this question before. I don't remember...

I tried plugging in a LAN cable, through the Ethernet link cable adapter I have, but my IP address was still showing from my mobile provider. On my phone, it was assigned differently.

It's handy for anonymity and for getting early access to demos, released in other countries ahead of my own, with whatever their time zone is.

 

How do you use VPN as a connection by the way?

 

You install one (paid for or a free version) and your connection is masked by the country you select. It can improve your speed while keeping you anonymous.
