I never heard of this happening in Queensland. I don't think it was reported widely in the media here.

this is ridiculous. is it even true? if a guy was smart and aware enough to build himself a robot, why would they send him to an old folks home?

Actually I can see it. The machine shot more than once, which a person only get one off, and there is the chance it might just leave you a vegetable or worse, conscious and trapped in your own body. Sounds like it was a certain death the way he planned it.

 

I thought that but unless he put his head in a vice all the other shots would probably miss as the body slumped,I may research it further see if I can find how many shots he was hit with I'm morbid like that.

If I was gonna top myself I think I'd buy a bottle of inert gas Argon or something and mask and turn it on,first you get lightheaded then pass out within 30 secs,in 5-10 mins later your dead and the gas will carry on pumping for hours to make sure.

This has been proposed as an execution method in many US states but has been rejected because the death sentence is a punishment and this is too nice,you actually feel happy before you die and don't care
