How can I change which drive boots first?

First, here is what I'm running...

    MSI 790FX-GD70 AM3 AMD motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition processor
Western Digital 500 GB Caviar Black SATA 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache
Western Digital 320 GB Caviar PATA 3200JB 7200 RPM 8 MB Cache
    Windows 7 Operating System

The PATA drive is the master drive before I rebuilt my computer. The SATA drive is the new one which I"ve loaded with Windows 7.

I want to use the old PATA drive as the slave drive but when I have both of them installed, the old PATA drive boots first.

I moved the jumpers in the back of the PATA drive but it didn't help, it still boots first.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    John

You need open BIOS (aka Setup) (shows before windows loads)

Then you find whats called Boot Order and change that. :)

    I got it done. :)

I wasn't familiar with this BIOS. Before I've always had Award or some other bios. I couldn't find the option to change the boot sequence earlier. Now I've got it.

    Thanks for the advice.
