How can I get MS Outlook to open to a personal folder on startup?

I am using MS OL to get my email from college, but whenever it starts up, it goes to an empty Inbox, which I think is the main Inbox or something. Also, when I get new mail, I have to click on the folder to read it, rather than it automatically go to that folder when I click "OK".

Is there a way to fix this?

thanks for the tip. I figured that I could make a "rule" that would redirect my mail to that folder. The only problem is that it takes it off of my webmail folder.

 

Yeah, I figured out that only pop mail, and maybe mail from the MS exchange server go to the main Inbox. IMAPs have thier own folders. When I created a rule to redirect the mail, it treated it like a POP3, with the only difference being that only unread mail was redirected.

So, I have put all the mail back the the IMAP inbox folder, and all the mail is on the website now too.
