How can I re-run MGtools if I forgot to disable the anti-virus?

I know that I was supposed to have disabled my Anti-virus (Avira Antivir free version) but it slipped my mind as I was back and forth from my computer. I'm sorry. :(

When I ran MGtools the first time, Avira blocked C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/ from being accessed ("file path not found). When the Avira Antivir warning appeared, I went :eek , stopped the scan, then disabled Avira (& re-started MGtools).

How can I get this Anti-virus to let MGtools allow access to the host file? Even after disabling Avira, it is still blocking access. I also tried putting MGtools in the program exceptions but that rule is locked in.

Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

    Hello, chizll

Hopefully it won't be necessary to un-install Avira, but this action was noted in the Using MGtools > Important Update Note: section of the guide.
