My last name is Trexler and everyone at work calls me T-Rex which is using the first 4 letters of my last name. Since then, I've used this user name for everything.

Anywho, I had some kids at my school who made up a language called "Onz" in which they would put "onz" between every syllable of words or something like that. I never quite caught on. Anyway, my name, Frank, became Fronzonk. After that I changed the spelling a little. I've found it to be quite unique and so I can use it on just about every site I'm on.

Lots of German studying and German dictionary reading lent to my nick. Of all the german nouns and adjectives I had read, memorized, and forgotten, this was one that stuck with me because it kicks an insane amount of ass. Some people translate it literally as "God-like" but I prefer the more down-played definition of "divinity." Similar in denotation, no doubt, but the connotation is what makes the difference. I dare not claim to be God-like.

An interesting note: MajorGeeks.com was the first place I used Gottheit as my nick. It was the first forum I'd joined since ars technica, and it also holds significant meaning to me because I joined right when I got in college. That was almost 3 years ago.
