How did you find Major Geeks?

Former 3DFiles member.

 

Kodo told me through email, after I managed to track him down...after the other messageboard we talked on closed. I was a 3dfiles member and have kind of traveled with the pack since it moved on.

 

I was at work listening to the radio and the person they were interviewing mentioned Major Geeks for a great site to go to for spyware problems, downloads, etc....
He was right. I was hooked immediately, spent hours reading and trying to learn. I learn something just about every day. (Have a notebook filled with tips, ideas)

This forum? Well, it is great. Different people, backgrounds, ages, etc, yet we all seem to fit in (well, most of us) I learn from everyone. People bringing a different side to some things.

I may not know anyone personally, but I feel I have become friends with one or two.....


I tell people at work about this site, but I don't know if any have looked at it or joined. If they have, they're not on the map.

I'd been looking for a solution to a problem and found it here. Added the site to my faves and then lurked for some time. When I saw a question that had no answers at the time that I knew I could answer I just HAD to join. Now I try to drop in at least once a day.

 

My puter was to the crashed stage and my dollars had crashed before then, and I typed in the error message that I got. It sent me here and PP helped me, then my son grew up and the IM thing, and all my neighbors call me b/c they know I read here because my eyes are too bad to read books anymore and Chas and BJ have been the cats meow ever since in spyware, and every body else is just cool, any of my friends that have savy enough to come here on there own I send, and the one s that don't I come for them that is really hard sometimes, but I feel like if you guys can do it in here then I should atleast help out here so I do like ya'll and work around work.
