How do I access the audio settings on Windows 8.1?

I know that to access the graphics settings, I right-click on the desktop and select Graphics Properties, but how do I do the same for the audio settings?

 

You can't access the Audio Properties from the Desktop. You'll have to do it from Control Panel. I have VIA HD Audio (you have Realtek) and there's an icon in the Notification Area. I click it once and the audio settings window opens.

I noticed that in your posts. Scroll down to the bottom of this thread and look under Posting Rules.
Do you see Smilies are On? If not you may have disabled smilies.

That's really bizarre. Smilies are on. I just can't see them. I'll test a few.

Well I can see them OK. Wonder what happened in my previous post then.

 

You used a lower case d, as in :-d :-D

 

I didn't. That's just what appeared when I clicked that smiley. Now it's appearing as upper case, but before it was lower case.
