how do i burn dvds

I take it you ment Burnaware?

What types you files do you want to burn? I note that you mention downloads and documents, but what do you mean by seperatly?

What type of DVD disks do you have are they DVDR (could be +/-) or DVDRW?
If you have DVDR then if you have closed the session then you wont be able to add more files.

Please describe what you need to do a little more, as it will help us help you quicker.

I dont use Burnaware, but use CDBurnerXP (works in Vista and Windows 7) and they have a good FAQ section on How To's HERE
