I have a friend giving me a refurbished computer (better friend than I deserve). Going through the backup ritual I realized I still don't know how to do the passwords, I've got the bookmarks transfer down pat on firefox. I know how save passwords to be printed or put in a file for lookup later. Getting them into a new install of ff eludes me.

Win 10 pro to Win 10 pro.

    Thanks in advance.

Set up a home network for the two computers and enable sync. That will fix it.

Easiest way is to use a 3rd party tool. I currently use Lastpass which is really good.

I've slightly misled you Wendy - it isn't necessary to create a home network for Firefox sync to work, you simply have to activate sync on both computers. Syncing actually happens on the FF servers.
