How do I find my winxp activation date?

    How do I find my winxp activation date?

    How does one go about finding out this date?
    Do I need software for this or is posted somewhere on my machine?

    I am curious as to what date the system was activated.

    About as close as you are going to get is to search for wpa.bak in C:\windows\system32 and right click properties. The modified/creation date should be of the one when you activated. This file does not exist before then.
