   i recently installed steganos antivirus on my pc
   and run a scan lucky no virus was detected but a few corrupted files did show up
   my question is how do i get rid off these corrupted files

   If you are sure they are really corrupted and they you do not need them, then just delete them.

   Well I cannot help you too much without know what they are referring to. All I can suggest is that you get a better and more useful antivirus that tells you what and where it is finding problems. Otherwise it is not very useful.
