How do i hibernate pc in win 7?

i just bought this new pc a few days ago.

I normally just hibernated my old pc i had, however this one doesn't have the option to do so.

The only options i get are :
log off
lock
restart
sleep
shut down

and followed the instructions on how to enable the hibernate option in my command prompt. It did not let me it stated '' you do not have permission to enable or disable the hibernate mode''.

I am logged in as the admin so what's the problem?

why did they take the hibernate from the start menu off?

 

I have my Windows 7 desktop system set to hibernate when I press the power button. Hibernate does not appear on the Shutdown menu. Just thought I'd mention this in case you might like to do the same.

 

You'd get this message if you didn't use an elevated command prompt.
Right click command prompt and select 'Run as administrator'.
