How do I remove safely WebDP 2.07?

Newbie here and hi to all,

I need advice on getting rid of a variation of Delfin Media Viewer. In add/remove programs, there is a program called WebDP 2.07. When I try to remove, it gives me this dialog box:

If I say ok to uninstall, will this adware uninstall or will my original system display utility be removed? I have run xcleaner_free and it has verified detection of this adware. Do I let it remove this adware and if I do, will it harm the system?

Also, I had 14 NDNUninstall#.exe (newdotnet adware) files in my C:\windows directory. When I ran xcleaner_free, it picked up 5 or 6 of them, while the others were not detected. Previously, I ran Grisoft's AVG free and it picked up one of the original 14 NDNUninstall's as a trojan horse virus and was deleted. Can anybody explain why the other NDNUninstall files were not detected and is there another program that would detect these files?

I believe the installation of Kazaa or Morpheus was the cause of these installations, which they themselves are still on the system, though in broken form, which I would also like to get rid of entirely, if possible, if anybody can help me with this too.

The system (Windows ME) I'm trying to clean up as much as possible is my sisters. I have installed and run for her Grisoft's AVG free, Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06, CrapCleaner 1.31, and XCleaner_free.

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around.

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:

• runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
• newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
• CounterSpy - ONLY IF you were not able to run Windows Defender
• Bitdefender - from step 6
• Panda Scan - from step 6
• HijackThis

Sorry for not being able to respond quicker due to internet service being knocked out because of heavy wet weather. After a quick read of the steps, I had already disabled her system restore to get rid of all of her viruses that AVG had picked up before I did a thorough check to see if there was any malware leftover. Realize now it was a bad decision, but now I know better. I will follow each step as outlined and will get back as soon as possible. Thanks very much for your help.
