How do I remover awareremover2010?

Greetings all. My friend is running windows XP. Some how she got the awareremover2010 virus. She cant access the internet, nor can she access much of anything else on her computer. When she tries all she gets is a message saying that such and such app is infected with a virus. She has no virus protection of any kind on her computer. I tried to install both Norton and AVG on her computer this evening but it wouldnt let me. It said that they both were infected, but I know that they arent. Two pornography websites pop up every now and then. They pop up on there own. The only other website that can be accessed is the awareremover website. I have tried restarting her computer in safe-mode but it wont allow me to do that either. What are my options to help her? How can I get rid of this virus? Nothing on her computer can be accessed to do any type of scan or anything. Thank you all for your help. I will try my best to answer any questions I can to help.

 

Not to sound like a complete moron, but do you mean run it on her computer? Can I save the program to my sandisk and run it on her computer?
