How do I "Save a Log", please?

    Hi,

    Someone here asked me to download, and "Save a Log"...

    God knows I've downloaded more than any THREE humans alive, but I am not exactly sure how to save a log?

    Here is exactly what I was asked to do:

    "Can you download and run Speccy from here

    Save a log. Open it up remove your windows serial and attache it to a post. That should tell us what you need."

    Maybe I've already saved this log (?) ... "somewhere"??

    I have definitely downloaded it ... and can find the program, but would anyone have a clue what I'm being asked /told to do here...and could tell me how to do it, please??

    I have not run Speecy before, but after it has run, it should give you a result. Click file and then Save as and save it to your desktop. It should just be a text file. Then to upload it, go to attachments on your next post and scan to your desktop to locate the file you just saved.
