How do I shut down Kaspersky so I can download a FLV player

When I go to http://www.flvplayerdownload.org/

To download the FLV player Kaspersky will not allow it :cry:cry saying it is suspicious !!

Is there any web site I can download FLV player that Kaspersky wil allow.

Also what is differnce of MP3 and MP4 and what is better.

 

Avast would scan and send to chest once the download completed!
I downloaded FLVTube.exe to a Mac and uploaded to Virus Total. In the screen shot, are the seven AV's that flagged!
The same was recently uploaded to MBAM forums for scrutiny. Results not out as yet.

Could be some thing minor that's triggering these Av's. But why take a chance.

 

No it is Kaspersky that is saying it is bad .

My take it is false postive but do not know If I should shut down Kaspersky and download it.

 

That site is bad. All the links on the page (including the ones at the bottom that are pretending to be links to VLC's site) end up directing to that flvtube.net download site.

I would definitely stay away. Web of Trust also gives the site a very bad rating.

If you want to download FLV videos try using FireFox browser and the DownloadHelper addon. If you want to play FLV videos then VLC videoplayer will do that.

 

This may be little of topic but these sites work well for downloading videos from youtube or any web site.All you do is go to the web site and type in the URL of the video and click on download.

I don't think any of those web sites have malware.

Has for downloading a FLV player ,I think there are players out there that you can download that plays any thing.Than having 5 or 8 players on your computer.

 

May be this post should be posted pass the malware team to look at the sites.
