How do I stop pop-ups?

    Some time back I installed and then uninstalled Spam Blocker Utility. After removal, I keep getting one pop-up on almost every new website I visit. The pop-up seems related to the topic/type of website. How do I get rid of these pop-ups? I never had this problem prior to Spam Blocker Utility.

    Use a pop-up blocker.

    Many websites use pop-up advertisement.

    Can you recommend a good one, please? Thank you!
    I had thought about this but was suspicious that it had something to do with the SpamBlocker Utility because I had not had this problem before SpamBlocker.
