How do i wipe out an old hardrive im going to use for external storage?

basically what the title says. i want to completely wipe out the drive so i can use it for storage. Thanks

 

Hi. Check out the mfr's site for a utility for that. Otherwise, check out Active@KillDisk. There is a free version which I use which does a good job.

 

i tried that program, but i couldn't figure it out. i don't want to mes u anything else that i possibly already can
