Hi! Is Vista pronounced with a hard "v" as in V-sta or as similar to fista?

    Thank you!

It really depends on how you want to say... people pronounce words differently all the time like vanilla/vanella, carmel/caramel

Most of the ppl I know say vista (vee-sta)

The TV commercials pronounce it Vis-tah so I go by that as I'm sure MS would want people to say it properly. Other countries will probably say it differently.

Funny on the price and reference to $$$$$s as Vista is no more expensive than XP in OEM guise,

    XP Pro SP2 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=OS-002-MS&groupid=33&catid=20&subcat= £88.11

    Vista Ultimate 32Bit ( choose this as equiv over 64bit ) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SW-040-MS&groupid=33&catid=20&subcat= £115.14

diff of £27.03 not too bad concidering its a new OS release! now if its was £100s more I would agree on the old, tired, noobie, troll, worn out reference to M$ but its not is it?
