How do you turn the browser off?

    Excuse my stupidity but I have looked high and low on info on how to turn off your browser.Any help would be great!I have to do this for a Norton prog. to clean the cache out.If so how do you turn it back on also?Is there a possibility of another browser on too?How do you turn it off too?Thanks

    The web browser is the application that you use to browse the web. It is what you loaded up to get to this site. There really is no "Turning Off" of the browser. You just close it when you're done. That's it.

    You need to use a third party cleaning program.

    A cleaning program usually cleans what ever is unlocked, and then leaves a batch file in Start Once Folder that cleans at the next reboot before the processes starting to lock the files again..

    Look here (Majorgeeks) for cleaning tools, some are free.
