Ok so I havent really been keeping up on my hardware knowledge, but I needed new parts and could only afford the following:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ (i know its not spectacular but oh well)
    Asus M2N4-SLi Socket AM2 Mobo
    Ultra X-Wind Aluminum Fan 2800rpm/AM2
    eVGA GeForce7300 GS 256MB PCIe

the proc, mobo and fan, they're ok at best, but considering I'm running a 1.5ghz duron, its a step up lol.

my big question, is from my XFX GeForce 5600 256MB AGP vid card, how much better is the 7300gs?

and what does anyone think of the upgrade? was it worth the 400 it cost me?

you coulda done better with the video card, it isnt much of an upgrade...

I would have kept your old card and saved up for a little better card like a 7600gt/gs

    But the rest looks great

cool. well maybe someday when I have money I'll get a bitchin card. the 7300gs should run like, C&C3, and most relatively new games right? I'm hoping so, especially with the proc.

I need a new HDD anyways. damn tiny 60gb.

7300 should be fine.. might be a little pressed running c&c3.. but it should work
