Every time I buy a new SSD or HDD, sooner or later it starts giving me CRC errors.

What causes it & how damaging is it to data stored in it ?

How do I prevent CRC Errors in futures ?

I am not an expert on reading the SSD reports so I am posting few pics.

Let me know if I need to post more pics of tabs in these utilities.

    Thank You

Frankly, I just go by the health status and all 3 of your screen shots show it is good.

I have tried to find with CrystalDiskInfo attribute findings are explained and never have. I will say on all three of my SSDs here, it shows 100 for the CRC Error Count on Current and Worst. All 3 showing exactly the same 100? Not likely. So I ignore that value. So should you.

According to all the smart data the drive is fine.
Bad memory can give errors, run memtest for a few hours and see if anything shows up.

Also look for leaking capacitors on the motherboard. It is still an issue these days, not as bed as back in the early 2000"s. If this is the issue, I recommend replace the motherboard, although if you like to tinker and have good soldering skills you can replace the capacitors, and see if that cures it.

Keep an eye on cpu temps, if high, find out why, clean the fan and heat-sink, apply new thermal compound. All of which needs to be done anytime temps start going up.
That is a list of some of the first things I look for when working an issue like yours. Good luck.
