Heavy rain, built up traffic, the phones come out.
I run a rear dash cam also now, so to get footage of the driver behind me looking down at his lap while texting.

    Insurance companies love it!

Hope you get the all clear on damage Dave.

Cheers and I need to look into a dashcam, I fear it was driver was on phone forgot handbrake and rolled into me, surface as in bumper (plastic) doesnt lookcracked or damaged, thougth as reverse sensors are in it they may have been crakced by the edge of them but not, just dont know behind bumper as twin exhausts, it has a very large back box so dont know if its been damaged, TBH dont think it has, but have to be safe.

Not mine as have metallic blue one but youll get picture of ass end (mine a 2017 model so light and bumpers are a tad different) https://www.carwale.com/fiat-cars/abarth-595/images/fiat-abarth-595-rear-view-55319/

    Thanks Rep

Yeh those exhaust protection plates beneath the bumper dont take much to put out of alignment from even the slightest knock, and as you stated, reverse sensors are even more fragile.
Good move getting it checked out mate!
    Nice wheels ;)

Cheers, city driving as I do mostly (longer I fly or train) its a hoot of a car. Yes check the sensors out when at home to make sure the beeps and screen came on. at least the shut lines between bumper and rear quarter panel do not look out of place or damaged, think sounded worse than was. As you rightly say worth checking.

Have been thinging of late and weather related (back on topic) is a SUV, torn between, Alfa Stelvio and AMG GLC
Likely also to change my Anarth 595 for the 2019 model year as a really daft reason as I want Google Play on the infotainment system as want Spotify and Waze, the inbuilt TomTom ok for not as good as Waze and this colour is Lambo-esk https://www.abarthcars.co.uk/abarth-595-competizione
I;d need to change exhaust for Akrapovic version you may get if asking factory as they spec it on another car the 695, just dont like the colour and build of it.

Weather here today was mid 20's (cel).....cooked a nice BBQ, had the neighbours over for arvo snack!
Go the Merc Doc....cant beat German engineering i say and that is one awesome looking motor. ;)
Mind you, that Alfa does look pretty sexy also.
Why not, seems we spend half our lives inside our vehicles these days so we gotta have some perks right?

Whichever way you choose, grab a dashcam to protect your investment and get a rebate from your insurance company!

[sigh] Mum always said i should have been a doctor, I said nah, you cant flash the human mind with a firmware update :p

Now Rep, you see my dilema on the SUVs, italian style is me, but the GLC coupe is epic looking.
I hear you on dashcams as looking at them now, current insurance company does nto offer discount on them, but paying £235 or $306 per year is pretty good, actually dont know what you folks in USA pay, there is a new thread.

Hahahahaha on flash mind, wish we could... AI/big data/neural nets are new avenues for me of late in eye reseach, intesresting as hell as feeds into my love of computing.
