This depends what software companies package you buy as many are different and the functions vary to your needs and how many terminals you need it installed on to how many practices or clinics you need it for?

Our works software is tailor made so that reports you can customise and price well dont think you'd like to know what the change has cost us, but as a government health dept we pay the price anyways (guesstimated as dont have exact figure to hand, but for a countrys IT infastructure and EMR systems it was in region of £20bn and still going on), Single hospitals outlay would be in the region of £50-100m and in USD this would be $70-140m)
