    Hey guys,

My computer just shut off while i was using it, and there are now no signs of life. Im guessing its safe to assume the PSU finally died on me (its 6-7 years old)

Anyway, my old power supply which was way overkill at 1000W is gone and im looking to get a new one but its been a while and I dont know how much power i need, or even where to start... Can anyone shed some light? thanks.

    My system:
    AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU
    MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3)
    two internal HDD
    CD drive

Use this handy little online calculator - just plug in your machine specs and it'll give you an idea of the wattage you'll be needing.
