    Hi Cipher,

    I could understand that the Novell login mechanism might have a few different policies that are outside of the MS group policy settings (e.g. password length). However, most of the CIS benchmark is for OS security settings where it shouldn't make a difference how they're being set.

    Could you give me a few examples of settings that Novell is making that the Advisor is saying aren't compliant with the CIS benchmark? Feel free to PM me if you'd rather have this discussion privately.

    Me too. Did you find a fix for that one?

    Another setting I'm having trouble with is Devices:Allowed to format and eject removable media----I set it to Administrator but it is still red X'd.

    Also, Smartcard removal behaviour is set to "No Action" but still is red X'd.:confused: :confused:

    Score has gone from 3.13 to 1.88. :p
