Been working with various linuxes that can mostly run from a CD [Puppy can do so with only a few hundred MB footprint... but it fails the network tests].

so I'm wondering: both Windows 98 and ME have the lovely capability of generating a "Boot Floppy". How do I get that to work on a CD or DVD media? in fact DVD+ would give me almost 5GB of playspace... i could knock myself out with that much :drool
maybe even use my USB mem stick as swap space?

how do I do this? I can partition one of my lab machines and fully install, say, Win ME. Then I can create the boot floppy in a file [virtual floppy].
but how to get that in a bootable form on the CD?
IMGBurn has the facility to make any dvd or cd boot something... just a tick box and a source location. if i just new the filenames I could locate them in the cabs or folders/directories and make it boot win ME...

No version of Windows is LiveCD, that is a Linux feature.

    Sorry about that.

Hacking or cracking is one thing we don't help with here.
