How to change the Windows Start up Logo?

How would I change the Windows XP Pro logo at start up to a picture????

I have found and tried the Windows 2000 procedure til' i was blue in the face but, I did not work. It might have been me though. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is for the logon screen, not the boot screen.

Grab Logon Loader.

Then grab some Logon Screens.

Away you go.

There is a freeware utility which has been around for quite a while called Boot Editor which is an editor for creating boot screens in zip format. This "Boot Editor" utility was specifically designed for Windows XP Pro or Home edition.

Important Note: This utility is fairly easy to use; however make sure that you thoroughly read the instructions on that site [in fact copying the instructions to a Word .doc isn’t a bad idea either].

Also as a precaution you should Create a System Restore Point before you actually make any boot screen changes - just in case something goes wrong. This will allow you to return your computer settings to the state your PC was in - prior to making any changes.
