I just got a new external hard drive and when I put it in my USB port, it says "You have put this USB port in a non-high speed USB port, it will function but at a slower speed"

How exactly do I change it?

    Thanks for the reply :)

If your computer is a notebook/laptop, then you can't, unless there is a USB 2 PCMICA card available, not sure if there is. On a desktop, you can buy a PCI USB 2 card and install it. The message that you inquired about, means that you are plugging a USB 2 compliant device into a USB 1 port, and that it will operate at USB 1 speeds instead of USB 2. :)

What USB 2 card do you recommend?
