Hello there, does anyone knows if there's a software to create you own Bootable Recovery or Restore CDs from a Windows XP or 2K computer?

    Thanks for your support, Regards.

If you have the i386 folder on your hard drive (sometimes the pre-made PCs have it; like Dell, HP, Compaq, etc) you can create an OS CD; you'd need to 'merge' a boot image into the CD to make it bootable, and include smrtdrv so it wouldn't take forever to load and run... if you have an OS CD already, you can create a slipstreamed disk with the drivers built-in. Personally, I haven't created a slipstreamed CD with my drivers, but now that I'm talking about it, I think I will. I know it is possible.

Use Norton Ghost and make the first CD/DVD bootable. I've always wanted to make a cool restore disk like the OEMs but never found out how.
So just load the system the way you want & image with Ghost.
