Is there a way to disable the warning message in Wordpad.exe that warns

"You are about to save the document in a Text-Only format, which will remove all formatting. Are you sure you want to do this?"

I'm using wordpad.exe to code web pages and the extra step to click "YES" in this warning message when in my "trial and error/experiment" process, slows things down--even 2 seconds and an extra mouse click back and forth 40 times an hour is wasted time.

I thought there might be a registry key that I can change to shut off this warning without turning off warnings globally for other errors and other programs.

    thanks-in-advance for any advice...

I have done some very limited coding myself (I messed around with writing Yahoo Widgets) and I tried using Notepad and WordPad but they just weren't 'coder friendly'. I ended up using an alternative that I downloaded from Major Geeks... I just can't remember which one it was. There are many good free ones and choosing one would depend on which features you need. Since you're doing web stuff, I'd recommend AlleyCode. It is aimed at folks who are wrangling HTML http://majorgeeks.com/Alleycode_d5737.html I poked around a bit here at Major Geeks and found some other coder friendly text editors:
    Arachnophilia http://majorgeeks.com/Arachnophilia_d5586.html
    FirstPage http://majorgeeks.com/FirstPage_2006_d5538.html
    Home Page Editor http://majorgeeks.com/HomePage_Editor_d5515.html
    Inedita http://majorgeeks.com/Inedita_d5486.html
    jedit http://majorgeeks.com/jedit_d5793.html
And there are MANY, MANY more free ones available. This list would be much longer if I had kept going. The first 2 or 3 I listed here are primarily for web/HTML coding. To browse thru some of the others available, click this link: http://majorgeeks.com/downloads41.html
Good luck! I tried to provide some options here for you. Most of the coders I know (all 2 of 'em) do not use WordPad or NotePad due to the fact that they weren't designed with coding in mind.
