    I am trying to figure out how to do a screen shot or capture. I am having trouble trying to get outlook to do what I want and it may help if I can take a "snapshot" of certain screens to see if I can get some help by showing others what I am having trouble with. Don't know how to do that though.
    I am using XP Media Center edition and MS Outlook 2003

    Gadwin printscreen is one of 2 that I use. (each is set up with different options). Not available at MG downloads.

    You have to set it up differently if you want to print the full screen, or a part of the screen. Not that difficult. Bazza

    md2lgyk I can't follow the rules

    Just hit the PrtScrn key on your keyboard. That will copy the screen view to the Clipboard. You can then paste it into any image manipulation program (Irfanview, Photo Editor, etc.) and do whatever you want to it.

    Thanks everyone.

    This will help me.

    Here is an example of what I was trying to convey about contacts in Outlook 2003

    WHat I have been trying to do, unsuccesfully, is to delete the folder which simply says contacts. I want the contacts personal folder, and am hoping that it will then, finally, sync with my PDA. Right now it only syncs calendar but not tasks or contacts.

    I know this may sound crazy, but even after following the steps, I am still not able to get rid of the contacts folder I want to delete. I will try again later.
    Think maybe I have been too distracted today.

    Thanks for everyone's input and help.

    Hi;

    This is my first post.

    I have a great screen shot/capture program- FastStone Capture and it is free for home users.

    You can get it here: http://www.faststone.org/

    And capture any size- freehand, et.al. And there is a free tutorial.

    Well worth a look IMHO.

    I've included one that took 15 seconds to do.

    Hi Steve;
    Thanks for the Welcome. Great site.
    My confusion is that I have version 5.3 which is free for home users
    and a screen shot which I include with this.

    I'll have to look at version 6 which is 19.95 and see the difference.

    I have to check my CP- can't make my signature stick.
