How to find DNS and IP/PORT for free browsing

I need to know how I can find DNS, IP and port for free browsing. I noticed some times guru post how one can configure his system with either dns or ip/port for free browsing but after a while our isp upgrades there systems to block this free browsing I really need help here.

 

DNS servers can be changed to anything you want to set them too, that is fine. Many people run googles dns servers instead of there isps for various reasons and that is fine! If you need help with changing your dns to google or another dns service post and we can help with that, the rest, LauraR has stated.

 

Look, that may be how your isp operates, but thats not how the few ones around here i have access to/use on a regular basis. That includes cox, nexttech, and kbi broadband.

 

Well, my isp i personaly know the two owners, and its a local private owned isp, im pretty sure im fine.

 

digital this is really getting off topic. But im just saying if a user wants help changing there dns, its not upto us to decide if thats a good thing.
