How to find hardware keylogger in laptop?

Hello, I am a little worried about my HP laptop. I really feel that someone install some kind of hardware keylogger in it. I am going to open my laptop but I still need to know what to look for. Can someone tell me how detect a hardware keylogger and how to remove it safely without damaging my laptop? I am using windows 7 32-bit, HP pavilion dv3 4048-tx. Visual inspection is the easiest way of detecting hardware keyloggers. Check the connections on the USB port. If you are using a USB keyboard, the keylogger will be installed between the cable on the keyboard and port on the computer. It will be a flat rectangular-shaped device. Remove the device and it will no longer be able to record keystrokes. A software keylogger like Micro keylogger is always difficult to detect.

 

Yes, the laptop is missing a screw and that's very weird. I don't know where it is. My 2 shift buttons randomly don't work also, sometimes they do work but sometimes they don't. So what can I do to find out if my hardware is clean? Thanks
