Ran pc pitstop full test. It recommended drive D space which showed 6% be increased to at least 25%, drive C has 86%. D drive is fat32, C drive is ntfs. I did what they suggested, But nothing has changed. How can I make this change? Thanks Mike

    HI

Did you partition or add a 2nd hard drive as D: or is this a pre-build PC from the likes of DELL, HP, Compaq etc

If it is a pre-build and D: is what I think it is, in being the restore partition, then do not delete or change anything on that partition as you wont be able to re-install your operating system to factory default.

If you did install this drive or partition then the option to increase its free space is delete files or get a larger hard drive.

Think I'm very certain that D: will be your restore partition and will generally be as small as they could make it to house the HP restore software, hence that PC Pitstops scan thinks its a full hard drive, but as a restore partition there is nothing you need to do to that area, so its fine.
