All you folks here have always done me good , so here I am again. ~smile~
    So, here it goes,
I purchased Snowflake Pro and was assured in writing that I could put it on up to 5 of my personal computers. Well, I really wanted it on my laptop but I figured that I could put it on up to 5 of my personal 'puters so I originally put it on my home pc, and then from there put it on my laptop.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this.
I've e-mailed the man several times and have heard zilch. I've tried different addys for him. Nothing. I'm seriously thinking about sending him a registered/certified letter. Whatever good that would do.
On my big pc (that has the application on it) I tried mailing this thing to myself so that I could pick it up on my laptop. All I could get was the page that had the spot that I click on for download and when I do that I get the (run, save, cancel) I have tried the run and it just disappears. The save does the same.
Is there any way that I can share between the two 'puters and get it to my laptop that way? I don't have any kind of a 'jump cable' , in case would be one way of doing it..
I'm not very good at this at all. My laptop is a new Toshiba running Vista until I get the free version of 7 and the big home one is a 5 yr old HP running Windows XP.
Thanks for taking the time to read all of this. It's drivin' me 'almost' nutso.

I assume that you saved the original download file of the program.

Copy the original downloaded setup file to a USB Flash Drive

Stick the drive to the laptop and install.

I saved everything that I possibly could. There were two pages. The first offered me choices of what my 'puter is running. After clicking on the correct one for what was right for each computer, it went to the second page, the download page. I rt. clicked on the words that I was supposed to, and went to save target as, (it told me to do this). After that, I get a box in the middle of the page that wants me to either Run, Save, Cancel. Well, when I Run, I get another box that has a line that indicates that something is actually being loaded with a percentage of how much at the top. Then after that, another box shows up and tells me to run or cancel and when I click on the run ...the whole things turns to absolutely nothing. It all goes bye-bye except the page that I started on, the one that started the whole thing in the beginning. I have looked into Program Files and Java and bin and done all of the things that it has told me to do but I cannot figure it out. When I put it on my big PC the very first intial set-up, it went so smooth. But the idea was to have it on the laptop where I really needed it most. We are talking about somewhat of a template for writing a novel.
I appreciate you answer, thank you. But I have no idea of how to get this to my laptop other than getting him to do it for me by sendiing it in my e-mail or something like that.
It's almost to the point that I'm losing my trust by buying 'anything' through the internet.
I really didn't mean to make this reply a 'novel' hahaha but it is probably the only one I'm ever gonna write. hahha
So from what I've explained, could I still be able to use a USB Flashdrive on my big home PC and put it on my laptop? Or would it be protected in some way that I would just be spinning my wheels like I feel that I already am?
Thank you for your time....hehe really, thanks cat5e
