Some program is superimposing a blue box on my icons for document and image files. The box is blue and square with rounded corners, and it contains two arrow points pointing to the right. I want to eliminate these squares because they cover critical parts of the icons, but I have no idea what program produces them. Can anyone say? They first appeared several months ago. I was told they resulted from Fback, and I uninstalled that program. For a time it seemed they were gone in that they did not appear on new icons. However, they are back now on icons only seconds old, and I never reinstalled Fback, so apparently that was not the culprit. All suggestions appreciated immensely! :)

Just a thought here. You could download a installer/unistaller like Comodo Programs Manager, install it, and run it. Then reinstall Fback so that Comodo will monitor the installation. Then use Programs Manager to try to get rid of the whole thing...
