    I actually have two questions,

    1. When I downloaded the newest version of CCleaner I forgot to uncheck Yahoo tool bar. How can I get rid of this tool bar?

    2. I have a list of things that I'm using to protect my computer...
    a) Router
    b) AVG
    c) AVG Anti-Spyware
    d) Zone Alarm
    e) CCleaner
    f) Ad-Aware SE
    g) Spybot S&D
    h) SpywareBlaster

Does this sound ok or is this overkill? Anything I should add or replace? Would any of these be conflicting with each other.

    Thanks
    Global

You should be able to uninstall it via Add/Remove programs. The current version of Ccleaner has two forms! One with and one without the Yahoo stuff. See: http://majorgeeks.com/download4191.html

Actually you need a realtime spyware blocking program.....unless you have the paid version of AVG Anti-Spyware.

Yahoo Toolbar was in the Add/Remove list and was removed without any problems.
Is there a freeware spyware blocking program out there you could recommend? Would you recommend Windows Defender?

Thanks again Chaslang for all your help

***Should I uninstall AVG Anti-Spyware or any of the other programs I previously listed?***

Using Windows Defender is better than having no realtime blocking tool at all. Other free choices are:

Arovax Shield - I have not experimented much with this but I know some people who like it.

SpyWare Guard - probably not as good or up to date as Windows Defender

Spyware Terminator - I don't have much experience with this one since it used to be listed on a rogue application list but they have changed their ways and we do have it available on MGs now which means it is no longer junk.

You could also check out the below to see how you like it!

    Advanced WindowsCare v2 Personal 2.21.32348

Yes I would uninstall AVG Anti-Spyware.

Add the above together with what you have and follow the guidelines in the below and you should do well.
