    Hey guys,

I'm trying to find my exact product so that I can look for drivers and updated BIOS that are from 2005.

    I know that i have a:
    DFI nF4 Series
    Motherboard ID 01/25/2005-NF-CK804-6A61FD49C-00

And I think it is a LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR from looking at pictures.

I don't know any information past that, and DFI/Lanparty aren't helpful

This is the page I am stuck on:

    http://lp.lanparty.com.tw/portal/CM

on the right is a product search > LANPARTY > SLI-DR

Then it gets to a page showing about 30 variations of the board. I don't know how to figure out which one I have

    Hi

Have you looked ON the motherboard itself? Usually it's printed with exact model on the board.

    @sach2:
I thought I had a direct link also, but it seems that if you reference the SLI_DR direct link, it takes me to the home page only. Does this happen to you also? You are right, I missed that extra model.

@tgell I don't know, maybe the search result links we posted only last several minutes. You posted just before me and when I tried your link it took me to the same SLI_DR page as my link. Now both our links go to the homepage as does TSXCman's original link.

I guess TSXCman you will have to start at the Download link off the homepage. If you are fairly sure your MB is not part of the UT series I think there is only one set of drivers offered. The BIOS is award BIOS so it should quit on an incompatible match if you try to update the wrong board.

The reason I am looking is because I am having my computer underperform in some aspects, and I just reformatted it so that it could be clean and in order. I have updated all drivers the same way I would any computer, but I am noticing that so many of my drivers and BIOS are dated back to 2005 or so. Thats a long time ago for computer tech, when I reboot now I cannot access my pheonix bios either. I constantly reboot and press ctrl-alt-esc OR ctrl-alt-s, which have worked in the past, and are the protocol keys for this BIOS.

I would like to update drivers, BIOS, (if updates exist) for this MOBO, and over clock it a bit since this motherboard series has been known to do that easily.

The DFI site is confusing, and alot of the links send you to ERROR pages because they are so ancient. And there are alot of models for this series of MOBO

From what I see your original BIOS date was 1-25-2005

These four boards use that same BIOS and look just about identical.
    LanParty NF4 SLI-DR
    LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D
    LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D
    LanParty UT NF4-D

I'd go with the LanParty NF4 SLI-DR drivers. My guess is they are all the same. [Of the 3 UT versions the only difference I could discern between the boards was the Ultra-D may have had a different LAN chip]

    thanks sach2,

yea i manually flipped thru the bios downloads too and noticed a similar file for most of the models.

I havent updated yet, but I was playing around with overclocking. not good results tho due to my computer running hot and not being cooperative.

managed to only see positive results at 5% OC. 210 x10, playing around with the multiplier just made the computer too hot for the higher Hz.

Figured out the board finally though!

    thanks guys
