How to prevent Password Hacking!!

Hello everyone, I am hoping to find some answers on how to prevent someone from hacking my passwords for my email accounts. How do i find out if someone has a program logging all my passwords? How can i protect myself? Please help since someone has already done that and deleted everything i had in my email, irreplaceable files/emails.

 

I am not quite sure how to do that since it is not like i have them store in a file or anything, they are in my head...but my ex roomie cracked my password right after i changed it again, and within two hours, she removed everything i had out of my email.

 

Please answer the original posters question or don't respond at all. He asked how he could find out if someone had something on his computer logging his passwords, not how to put them in a compressed file.

 

Your best place to start is to follow the steps in this thread --> READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support If there is a keylogger or similar on your computer it should weed it out. Note: There are also some small free programs like password reveal that can be used to identify passwords for things like outlook express email accounts so you might want to have a look to see if you can find anything like that on your computer. They usually come in a zip file and are run right from the folder they are extracted to (not installed) so they don't show up in your add/remove programs list.
