I am trying to remove a VPN from my network connection,Host IP 192.168.0.1,. The problem is that it only shows when I go online, when I log off it dissapears. trying to delete it by right clicking and pressing delete only works until i log on again and then it reappears. I have tried restoring my computer to an earlier date but that has not made a difference. The computer vender does not know how to get rid of it either. I am using windows xp. can anyone please help me

What is it called? Do you use AOL? Have you asked your ISP about it?

If its not the above, then I've got a feeling that its spyware or maybe even a virus! You tried updating and running your antivirus? (presuming you have one) tried downloading adaware?

That's what I was thinking too... if it only shows up when he connects, it's probably a virus.

And if spyware starts doing stuff like that, it pretty much becomes a virus...

And has anyone been telling you lately that they have been getting weird attachments from you?
