How to remove/add optical drives to Compaq d530 CMT

I recently received a Compaq d530 CMT computer free from the former business owner. I'm trying to figure out how a DVD drive can be added.

One side of the case is easy to remove. With the side panel off, I see, starting from the top of the case, 3 - 5.25 inch bays and a floppy drive bay. A green plastic panel covers part of that side of these bays; it appears to be snap-in mechanism that holds drives in place.

I was trying to remove a CD drive but I don't know how to get it out. I'm wondering whether the whole outer case must be removed from the chasis so gain access to a similar locking system on the other side. The 3 sides (side opposite quite-release side panel and top and bottom) are all one unit. I removed screws on back that obviously secure this 3-sides panel but it still doesn't seem to come lose from the inside chasis/frame.

Perhaps this is similar to other Compaq models. I have the perception that a drive can be inserted without removing the 3-sides panel, but I haven't tried that yet. But, what I mainly want to know is how to remove optical drives? Can anybody advise me on how to proceed with this?

Anyway, I believe I've found the answer. I need to remove the bezel on front the remove and install optical drives. I should have known that; wasn't thinking.
