How to Remove AOL 9.0 from Vista

    Hi,

    I just started up my new Gateway computer which has windows Vista and AOL 9.0 in the lurks. I went to the uninstall, and AOL is not listed. But there is a whole folder of it under Program Files. I was going to delete them, but maybe not a good idea? How do I uninstall it? It's the "Try AOL Today!" icon.

    Hi Mark,
    I ran the decrapifier and it did not give AOL 9.0 trialware as an option to remove. I retried, and still nothing. It's still on the computer. Any other ideas of how I can get rid of it?

    If it is AOL trialware, chances are good that it hasn't installed.
    1. Create a restore point, just in case anything appears broken
    2. Erase the AOL folder under program files
