Hello I am new here. I am having a problem with a lot of malware or spyware constantly popping up. I can sign on to the internet, but then after that it is really slow for me to go to any page. So I don't think that I would be able to download any program to fix my issues. I did run Spybot and it got rid of everything except the following:

    ClickAgent.np
    Smithfraud-C
    Smithfraud-c.core.service
    Smithfraud-c.gp

    wildtangent
    win32.tiny.abk

can someone explain exactly what these are. I am not very smart when it comes to computers. Thanks

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Explaining them is really just a waste of time. Simply put, they are malware problems that you need to remove. See if you can run better in safe boot mode.

Try running the below as best as possible. If necessary, use another PC to download the tools and then transfer them to your problem PC using a flashdrive or CD.

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    Please Help, Very Desperate

Hello I posted yesterday for the first time and the information I received was very helpful. However; I cannot run any programs on my computer. I am able to get connected to the internet but with lots of pop ups. When I do try to get a program I get a message. For example I tried to run system restore and I received the following message:

Windows cannot find 'C:Windows\system32\Restore\rshrui.exe' Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again.

I get this message for every program that I try to open. Please someone help.

I'm sorry but we did not ask you to run System Restore. Have you tried to run the READ & RUN ME? Can you download the requested programs? Try all steps and then report back what you could and could not do. Also if you cannot run things in normal boot mode, try safe boot mode. If you cannot download using your PC, use another PC to do the downloading and then copy to your PC via a CD or a flashdrive.
